Two people were killed Tuesday night in Montreal less than an hour apart. One of the victims, who were likely chosen at random, is the 64-year-old father of Quebec boxer David Lemieux, André Fernand.
Lemieux confirmed the sad news in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
According to information from the Journal de Montréal , the two crimes were allegedly committed by the same individual. David Lemieux told Journal columnist Réjean Tremblay that he was completely devastated and “in shock” at the sad death of his father.
Still according to the words of the Montreal boxer to Tremblay, David Lemieux had just returned from a family visit when he learned of the death.
