Jason Cleaver Death and Obituary, Who was Jason Cleaver? How did he die? Cause of Death

This is really weird in the rules and seems inconsistent with how other cards are handled. If something forces you to reroll a break or move rule, or standard combat dice, ignore the previous one.

I wonder if you mean it differently because you intended “immediately” as a keyword. If not, the answers to these questions are misleading. If “immediately” is a keyword meaning “no other cards affect this battle”, then it looks like you’ve introduced timing in a game that doesn’t have timing rules.

Weapons can be used at will. I might want to avoid the zombie instead of killing it (to avoid it respawning elsewhere). So of course I have to announce “Cleaver” at some point. If you’re a zombie and I haven’t announced the cleaver, can you re-flip my 6 with one of your cards? The “Cleaver” works differently with every card in the game, which leads to “if I speak first, I win” timing issues, or the possibility of stacking like Magic: The Gathering.

Even with the resolution stack, the rescroll is currently the last operation on the stack, and obviously happens before any other operations, otherwise it would be pointless to force a rescroll in all cases.

I REALLY think that if you don’t want to introduce potential timing issues, you (as a zombie) should be able to force the player to re-roll Meat Cutter 6 with a card or ability like any other dice roll in the game.
