Three people are now in police custody following the tragic death of a teenager in Radstock on Sunday 31 July.
Despite emergency treatment the young man, aged 16, could not be saved after being stabbed in a disorder in The Street at about 6.40pm.
Detectives continue to question an 18-year-old man and a woman, aged 20, who were arrested overnight Sunday to Monday. Last night a second man, also aged 18, was arrested.
A murder investigation is underway and the family are being supported by a specially-trained officer. They’re grateful for the support of the community but ask to be given privacy to mourn their loss.
DCI Mark Almond said his team is working at pace to find those responsible, and urged the community to come together to support our investigation.
